CANSA Conference Sept. 22-24, 2010 This year's annual conference for cancer support agencies across the country will be hosted by Cancer Services in Baton Rouge. Our host hotel will be The Hilton Capitol Center, with seminars held at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation on Thursday and Capital Area United Way on Friday. Join us for 3 days of presentations, brainstorming sessions and educational information that will help all of our agencies better serve cancer patients. You will also enjoy scenic views of the Mississippi river while you experience the delicious southern cuisine and incredible hospitality that our city has to offer! Registration fee is $120/person. Also, keep in mind that if you choose to stay longer for fun, you won't have to go far to find something to do! Surrounded by our historic state capitol buildings, the U.S.S. Kidd, the Shaw Center for the Arts, LSU and the Louisiana State Museum, you are gauranteed to "pass a good time" in the city. And, for those of you who would like to travel to New Orleans before or after the conference, it's located just one hour east of Baton Rouge!
