Celebration of Life is an event held in observance of National Cancer Survivor's Day, the world's largest cancer event. The event will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2009 and is one of over 700 events taking place across the country. On this day, we honor people who are living with and beyond cancer, acknowledge the important role family and friends play in the lives of cancer survivors, and recognize the professionals who are helping to fight the battle against cancer. Participants include local dignitaries, clergy, health care professionals, cancer survivors and their families. We invite all cancer survivors to participate in our candelight processional.
